Anna Arcese
The influences
Surrounded by artistically inclined parents, Anna Arcese took inspiration from her father who sculptured wood after his day’s work in factory. Her mother was also artistic, designing and creating fashion clothes for many years.
During her education, she was still inspired by new experiences and exposure to art history and some of their wonderful works. During her time at the academy, study of the French and Italian impressionists, along with a later fascination for Japanese Zen works had a profound impact on the way her canvas works have developed. Her style has developed over the years and the works being offered by her today are of an exceptional clarity and quality.
