\u2018Gabber\u2019 is de enige echte subcultuur die in Nederland is ontstaan en tot ver in het buitenland is doorgedrongen. Van Amerika tot Japan was \u2018gabba\u2019 een begrip. Gabber is weer \u2018trending\u2019: de oer-Hollandse subcultuur wordt omarmd door de avant-gardistische jeugd van New York en Parijs.<\/p>\n

De tentoonstelling GABBERS! bestaat uit de gelijknamige documentaire van Wim van der Aar in samenwerking met David Kleijwegt, foto\u2019s van de hedendaagse gabber door Marije Kuiper en foto\u2019s uit de hoogtijdagen van de gabberbeweging van Ari Versluis en Ellie Uyttenbroek. De tentoonstelling GABBERS! laat de werkelijkheid zien achter de snelle danspasjes, de kale koppen en de wijd opengesperde ogen.<\/p>\n

Op 7 december om 22:00 gaat de documentaire GABBERS! in premi\u00e8re bij Roodkapje in Rotterdam en wordt eveneens de bijbehorende expositie geopend.
\nVan 23:00 \u2013 04:00 kan je komen hakken bij de GABBERS! Afterparty van Club Heimat.
